Former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch to Speak at UVI’s Student Convocation

February 17, 2020 - The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) has been selected to host a Student Convocation with the Honorable Loretta E. Lynch, former United States Attorney General, on Feb. 25, on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix. Attorney Lynch was appointed by former President Barack Obama in 2015 and served until 2017. She is the first African-American woman to be confirmed for the United States Attorney General position. Read More

February 13, 2020 - The University of the Virgin Islands welcomes Dr. Suzanne Darrow-Magras as the director for the UVI Center for Excellence in Leadership and Learning (UVI CELL). Dr. Darrow-Magras brings over 20 years of experience in education program management, online education, as well as career and technical education to the center. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Education from Central Connecticut State University, in New Britain, CT; a master’s degree in Instructional Technology, in Danbury, CT, and a Ph.D. in Education Technology and e-Learning from Northcentral University, in San Diego, CA.Read More

Agrifest 2020 Set for Feb. 15-17: "Agriculture: Trendy in 2020”

February 05, 2020 - The public is invited to attend the 49th Annual Agriculture and Food Fair of the U.S. Virgin Islands from Feb. 15-17, at the Rudolph Shulterbrandt Agricultural Complex, Estate Lower Love, on St. Croix. The theme is “Agriculture: Trendy in 2020.” The entrance fee is $6 for adults, $4 for children, and $5 for senior citizens. The fair will open daily from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., with an opening ceremony scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15. Read More

UVI’s Spring Semester Begins Jan. 13; New Student Orientation Set for Jan. 8 – 11

January 08, 2020 - Spring semester classes at the University of the Virgin Islands are scheduled to begin on Monday, Jan. 13. Online registration for continuing UVI students is available, with access through the University’s BanWeb registration and MyCampus portal.
