The University of the Virgin Islands Cooperative Extension Service (CES) “Hunger Banquet” scheduled to be held on Friday, October 12 in the Great Hall on the University’s Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix has been canceled.
General Elections Political Forums for Senatorial and Gubernatorial Candidates Set for October 15 - 18

The University of the Virgin Islands will conduct General Election Forums for senatorial and gubernatorial candidates on St. Thomas on October 15 and 16, and October 17 and 18 on St. Croix, respectively.
“Hunger Banquet” Kicks Off World Food Day Observance

On Friday, October 12, the University of the Virgin Islands Cooperative Extension Service (CES) begins its World Food Day observance with a “Hunger Banquet” from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Great Hall on the University of the Virgin Islands Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.

The University of the Virgin Islands to Receive $11 Million in Grant Allotment

The U.S. Department of Education Secretary Betsy De Vos announced on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, that under the Emergency Assistance to Institutions of Higher Education Program, $63 Million in new federal assistance will be awarded to 47 institutions of higher education. Through this initiative, the University of the Virgin Islands will receive an allotment of $11,174.451, which is the largest amount allotted to any of the institutions selected.
