The University of the Virgin Islands, in the wake of Hurricane Irma, is developing an academic plan to allow its students to continue their education in spite of the damage caused by the storm.
The University of the Virgin Islands is deeply saddened by the loss of life and property that the people of the Virgin Islands have endured as a result of Hurricane Irma.
In preparation for Hurricane Irma, a category five storm, the University of the Virgin Islands will close today, Tuesday, Sept. 5, until further notice.
Continuing with tradition, the Reichhold Center for the Arts is set to launch its 39th season at the St. Thomas/St. John Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business after Hours event at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
This Fall, the University of the Virgin Islands will launch the public phase of “Campaign for UVI,” the first comprehensive fundraising campaign that the University has ever undertaken.
Members of the media are invited to photograph and cover the University of the Virgin Islands orientation activities beginning on Tuesday, Aug. 15 through Saturday, Aug. 20, on the St. Thomas Campus and the Albert A. Sheen Campuses.
