Our team crushes glass beverage bottles back into sand and glass cullets which we
can use for a myriad of applications to include filling and distributing sandbags.
Join us to help replant mangroves across the USVI in an effort to bolster shoreline
protection as well as provide suitable habitat for marine and terrestrial animals.
Educators can schedule tours for their students to tour UVI's Marine Science Center
and explore unique habitats such as shorelines, coral reefs, and mangrove forests.
Students can learn the importance of 1) Water Conservation, 2) Water Quality Testing,
and 3) Water Filtration through this program; educators can receive professional development
training as well.
Hosted annually in April, Reef Fest engages the public to engage with various organizations
/ businesses to learn about on-going marine science research, ways to get involved
to preserve our natural resources, or even win cool prizes!
