Members of the media are invited to cover the University of the Virgin Islands Fifty-Sixth Annual Commencement Ceremony at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, virtually. This online commencement ceremony will be a first for the University and will feature the 2020 graduates from the Albert A. Sheen and the St. Thomas Campuses.

Dance instructors from the University of the Virgin Islands’ (UVI) Department of Communication and Performing Arts are presenting virtual dance workshops this month to highlight the dance techniques and academic studies offered in the newly launched Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) dance program. The workshops are offered free of charge to the public, and high school students are encouraged to participate.

In the regular session of its quarterly meeting on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, via Zoom, the University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees voted unanimously to adopt amendments to the University’s Sexual Harassment Policy.

The University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees will meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, via Zoom. Media instructions for participation will be shared via email. Once connected to the meeting, members of the media are required to mute their devices and turn off their cameras for the duration of the meeting. Members of the media are asked not to ask questions during the meeting.
